Information for Family Resource Centres
Information for Family Resource Centres
Pavee Point, as a Specialist Support Agency for the Family Resouce Centres, targets its information work to best support the needs of information and support givers. As part of our engagement in 2008 and 2009, we developed an e-bulletin system to ensure FRCs receive timely relevant information and are able to access our training and information in a timely manner.
We recommend that FRCs sign up to our Media Monitor, which tracks information relating to Traveller issues and aggregates them into one blog. A very efficient way to get news on Travellers!
Have a Question about working with Travellers?
Our research in 2008 (which you can download below) showed that, although FRCs are generally comfortable working with Travellers and supporting their needs, there are some areas you could benefit from a steer. Don't delay, and don't be embarrassed. Pavee Point, as a Specialist Support Agency, is here to support you. You should contact our information team by email or by telephone on 018780255 ext 150
