Pavee Point’s Youth Work and Information programmes were successful in securing funding from The National Youth Health Programme and National Office of Suicide Prevention to implement ”Connected Communities”. This scheme is designed to enhance the resources people develop and draw on to increase their confidence and self-esteem, their sense of connectedness, belonging and ability to bring about change in their lives and communities. Pavee Point will be carrying out national research to engage with young Travellers to explore the topic of mental health. We will be looking to organise focus groups and interviews with Traveller groups.
