National Conference: The Traveller Community - Reflections and Challenges in Public Service Delivery
This conference is being organised by Pavee Point Travellers Centre and the National Consultative Committee on Racism and Interculturalism in association with the Irish Human Rights Commission, Pobal, the Family Support Agency, the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform and the Equality Commission Northern Ireland.

Raineys CD Relaunch
The Rainey’s CD is being relaunched as part of the Tar Eis Na Feile Bride Festival in Letterfrack, Galway on the 4th of February. The launch will take place at a concert at 9 O’Clock in Molly’s Bar where the original recording of the Rainey’s was made by Professor Tony Knowland in 1956.

Traveller Focus Week 2006:
Traveller Focus Week is organised by the three National Traveller Organisations, Pavee Point Travellers Centre, the Irish Traveller Movement and the National Traveller Women’s Forum. In 2006 Pavee Point Travellers Centre is the designated lead organisation.
The theme of the week this year is PARTICIPATION. This theme was chosen as it is one of the key objectives of the National Action Plan Against Racism and represents a real challenge in the work with Travellers.

A Traveller's Ireland goes to Kilkenny
August 11-31, Comhairle, 4 The Parade Kilkenny
Photographs capturing the everyday life of Travellers in Ireland will be exhibited as part of Kilkenny Arts Festival from 11th August– 31st August in Comhairle, 4 The Parade, Kilkenny.
The 25 photographs comprise the winning entries and short-listed works from Pavee Point Traveller's Centre's National Photography Competition "A Traveller's Ireland" which was funded through the National Action Plan Against Racism.
