Pavee Point Violence Against Women programme today launched its new flagship resource on domestic and sexual violence. The resource ‘Pavees Tarrying & Romani Zoraji Vorba’ aims to provide information, education and reassurance as part of an education and training environment.

The resource, which is in DVD format and orderable from Pavee Point Travellers’ Centre was launched by Ms Kim Turcotte, of the Secretariat to the United Nations Forum on Minority Rights. The well-attended launch was also addressed by Ms Tessa Collins and Ms Sandra Byrne of the Pavee Point Violence Against Women Programme. Also at the launch, the Pavee Point Position Paper on Violence Against Women and Good Practice Guidelines for services working with Traveller women experiencing domestic abuse were launched.
