We warmly welcome the strengthened inclusion of Traveller health within the updated ICGP curriculum and valued the opportunity to work with the ICGP in its development.
General practice has a vital role to play in addressing the significant health inequalities experienced by minority ethnic groups, including Travellers and Roma.
Equipping future GPs with an understanding of racism and discrimination, the social determinants of health, and the importance of culturally appropriate and accessible care is an important step towards more equitable health outcomes.
Pavee Point looks forward to continuing to work in partnership with the ICGP to support GPs in ensuring inclusive and culturally appropriate service provision.
