Pavee Point were pleased to welcome the Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill back to Pavee Point last week to brief her on our work and discuss current challenges and opportunities in relation to Traveller & Roma health.
At the meeting we discussed the need for effective implementation and resourcing of the National Traveller Health Action Plan, Traveller health workforce planning, the rapid development of a Roma Health Action Plan & the mainstreaming of Traveller and Roma health within the work of the Department.
We look forward to continued close engagement with the Department of Health on these priorities in the coming months.
