On Wednesday (Sept 09) Pavee Point attended the EU High-Level Conference on Equality and Competitiveness, held as an official event of Ireland’s EU Presidency and hosted by the Department of Children, Disability and Equality.
The conference brought together delegates from EU institutions, Member States, civil society and academia, to explore how the EU’s core values can drive both equality and economic success.
Discussions and panels focused on the care economy, AI and digital transformation, and diversity in leadership roles in the context of growth and innovation. The conference included the launch of a new campaign by the European Institute for Gender Equality – ‘Gender Equality and Competitiveness’.
