Wednesday, Oct 14 — on Monday Pavee Point was in attendance at a consultation event on Cohort ’24 hosted by Growing Up in Ireland (GUI)
Cohort ’24 refers to a randomly selected group of children born in 2024 who are surveyed as part of a national longitudinal study conducted by GUI. Data collected informs policy decisions about health services, childcare, and parental supports.
Participants at the consultation were invited to give feedback on survey questions in preparation for data collection of Cohort ’24 at age 5: wellbeing, belonging, and Traveller representation in schools were among the topics discussed.
