Friday, Oct 16 — Pavee Point were delighted to be deliver an information session on Traveller and Roma culture and history to visiting students and faculty from the College of Social and Legal Studies in Prague.
Earlier this week we hosted a group of GPs from the Irish College of GPs (ICGP) for an anti-racism workshop — led by Winnie McDonnell (Pavee Point Training and Education Programme) and Mary Brigid Collins (Pavee Point Primary Health Care Co-ordinator) — equipping them with better understandings of the culture and history of Travellers and Roma, and how racism operates and impacts on Travellers and Roma.
