Lavie Olupona is an Irish Traveller-Nigerian spoken word poet and student at University College Cork studying Social Sciences. She is an Edna O’Brien Young Writer, co-founder of Bláithí literary mag and a co-host of UCC radio’s Na Cailíní. She’s performed her poet at Let the Pen Speak, Africa day Cork, Good Day Cork, Misleor Festival of Nomadic Cultures, Electric Picnic and Creative Bandon. Her poems can be found in Kin anthology by Salmon Press Poetry, Let the Words Look After You, Museum of Literature Ireland and literary magazines such as Abyss Lit Mag, Good Day Cork and Irisín.
