Michael Collins

Michael Collins is an actor, writer and performer who has acted on stage in the Abbey Theatre, the Olympia Theatre, the Project Arts Centres and others. Michael played Johnny Connors in RTE’s Glenroe for over 10 years and has been in numerous films, including Trojan Eddie (200), Man About A Dog (2004) and King Of The Travellers (2012) and Float Like a Butterfly (2018).

Michael has written a number of plays, including “It’s a cultural thing or is it”, “Magpies on the Pylon’ and ‘Shed a Tear’ which he has successfully toured in Ireland and in the UK to critical acclaim.  He is currently working on his own feature film.
