Selina O’Leary from Tullow, Co. Carlow was reared among a family and extended community of musicians and singers. Encouraged by her mother, she has been performing publicly since her teenage years and recorded an album ‘Thousands are sailing’. Selina has sung in Carnegie Hall, has performed with the Gypsy Kings, and featured in an RTÉ documentary ‘Travellers Guide’ following her journey to Siberia to spend time with the Nenets, a Nomadic tribe.
