This position will involve working in collaboration with Pavee Point management and relevant Pavee Point Programmes, in particular our dedicated Violence against Women (VAW) Programme, to address policy, advocacy and research needs.

The VAW Programme aims to promote the rights and social inclusion of Traveller and Roma women as a means to prevent domestic, sexual and genderbased violence (DSGBV) and promote greater gender equality.

The role involves undertaking research to inform Pavee Point’s strategic direction and action and engaging in policy and advocacy at national and international levels, with a particular focus on Travellers and Roma as well as the social inclusion of Traveller and Roma women as a means to promote women’s rights and prevent  DSGBV. 

The post is situated at Pavee Point Traveller & Roma Centre, Charles Street Great, Dublin 1 and consists of 35 hours per week with annual remuneration of €40,230.
