November 14th is World Diabetes Day.
To mark this day, Pavee Point organised an information session for staff and participants to raise awareness about Diabetes. Twenty Five people attended this session and fifteen people took a test to guage their blood sugar level.
The message this year is get early screening for Type 2 Diabetes as one in 2 adults with diabetes are undiagnosed. With early screening you can help prevent complications. More info here.
