In the run up to Human Rights Day 2018 our workers have been busy. Gabi Muntean, Roma Community Worker and Tessa Collins, Traveller Community Worker were both speaking up for equality for Traveller and Roma this week.
Gabi Muntean speaks about Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Huma Rights at an event organised by the ESC Rights Initiative and the Community Platform on the 6th December.

Meanwhile Tessa Collins, Traveller Community Worker took part in a panel discussion at the Irish Observatory on Violence against Women and spoke about the issues for Traveller women facing domestic violence. The event ‘Creating a Safer Ireland for Women brought groups together to highlight the importance of Ireland ratifying The Istanbul Convention.
