Traveller Pride Week got off to a great start on Monday 3rd July with a Traveller Arts Festival launch event. Traveller Pride Week celebrates Traveller culture and identity and includes 40 free events across 22 counties. See programme of events below.

Poet Helen Hutchinson read her poetry recalling her struggle to hold on to her Traveller identity in the face of the forces of assimilation.

Selina O Leary wowed the crowd with traditional and more modern tunes.
